The Los Angeles Fire Department CERT Unit would like to thank Captain Christopher Winn for his selfless dedication, hard work, and commitment he has given to the CERT Program. Captain Winn came in as CERT Commander in 2015 and has worked tirelessly, at all hours, to serve the community. His subject matter expertise in logistics assisted in establishing CERT volunteers at emergency call-outs in record time, including brush fires, wind storms, and rain events, easing certain logistical duties from Firefighters so they may continue their emergency-related duties.
We would like to thank Captain Winn’s wife and children for allowing him to commit so much of his time to this program. Good luck Captain Winn at your new assignment. You helped us deliver a great product and you left this program better than you found it.
